The 30,000 Foot Overview

Before we dive in & start learning how to do things with the WebSanity CMS, let's look down from above & discover what you can do in the first place.

Edit content by working with Blocks. Blocks are the basis for all content on your website, so you can edit, move, & delete existing Blocks, as well as add new ones to any Page.

Add new Pages to your website. A website needs to grow & change. That means adding new Pages—and even sections—as needed.

Edit Pages. You can change almost anything about a Page. To edit its content, you work with Blocks. Beyond that, you can change a Page's Name or Title (there is a difference, which we'll cover!), rearrange content, control who can access your Page (or even an entire section), roll back to previous versions of a Page, & move Pages around your site to reorganize your navigation structure on the fly.

Enhance your website with images, movies, & other files. Upload files & include them in your Pages. Control who can access & use those files. Roll back to previous versions of files. It's a lot easier than you'd think!

Re-use content. Sometimes you want to post the same image or the same chunk of text on multiple Pages. Your CMS includes a powerful yet easy-to-use technique called Stacks that makes it a snap.

Alice in Accounting, Harry in Human Resources. Want to add more users to your CMS? Want to place those users into groups for easier management? Want to remove access for certain users or groups, or set up a restricted section of your website? No problem!

These are just a few of the things you can do with your new WebSanity CMS. We think you'll find that it's both powerful and easy to use. And remember, if there's something you want it to do that it doesn't already, contact WebSanity & we'll see what we can do.
